SUMMER PROGRAMS

Art of Emotions

Art of Emotions 1: Creative Expression & Exploring Emotions

Campers will explore the power of creativity as a way to express emotions, reflect on positive moments, and build self-awareness.

Each day, children will look for the good in themselves and in their lives, recording positive takeaways through journaling, words, images, colors, and shapes. They will create meaningful projects such as pinch pots, affirmation boards, anger monsters, worry dolls, and wearable art, learning that mistakes and starting over are part of growth.

Through both individual and collaborative art, campers will build confidence, process emotions like joy, anger, worry, boredom, and sadness, and discover how creativity supports mental wellness, resilience, and connection with others.

The week will conclude with a Friday art show, giving campers a chance to proudly display and talk about their artwork, building confidence and communication skills.

Your child can participate in just one Art Camp or both.  We will be doing different projects in each camp.
